On Sunday, July 21, 2008 I gave my farewell talk in church. A lot of friends and family came to hear me speak. Afterwards, everybody gathered at the house for food and last minute advice. Here are some pictures.

Dear Elder Robinson, This is Amber's mother-in-law and I felt impressed to wish you a wonderful and successful mission in South Africa - what an experience! May the Lord be your guiding light, friend and companion as you walk the streets among His children there in South Africa. Know that we will be mindful of your efforts and praying for your well-being!
glad to find this, Martha has helped me. I hope you are having a great experience. I have recently read a book about Johannesburg and the surrounding country. It sounds like an interesting place. Love you lots. Grandma R.

Hey Elder Robinson,
Our family will love to hear of your experiences through your blog. We heard you are in an area where the people live in huts with dirt floors but they are happy people. We look forward to hear more about you experiences and viewing some pictures. May the Lord bless you as you serve the people of South Africa.
Love, Aunt Amy
